Ba-da-ba-ba-ba – I’m lovin’ this BIG MAC SALAD! 🍔 A much healthier version of that fast-food classic.

Lunch/Dinner Idea~ Also Great for meal prep or  when you need something quick. 

Don’t know who needs to hear this but…

Recipe

For the Salad⁠

– 1 tablespoon olive oil⁠

– 1 pound ground beef⁠

– 1 teaspoon salt⁠

– ½ teaspoon black pepper⁠

– 6 cups romaine lettuce (chopped)⁠

– 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese⁠

– ½ cup tomatoes (chopped)⁠

– ½ cup dill pickles (sliced)⁠

– ½ cup onions (sliced)⁠

For the Big Mac Dressing/ Thousands Islands Dressing is Perfect Also

– ½ cup mayonnaise ⁠

– 2 tablespoons dill pickle relish⁠

– 1 tablespoon ketchup (unsweetened if you’re keto!)⁠

– 2 teaspoons mustard⁠

– 1 ½ tablespoons apple cider vinegar⁠

– ½ teaspoon garlic powder⁠

– ½ teaspoon onion powder⁠

– ½ teaspoon smoked paprika⁠

– ¼ teaspoon salt⁠

Add olive oil to a large skillet over medium heat. Once the oil is hot, add in ground beef, salt and pepper. Cook and crumble until the meat’s no longer pink, about 7-10 minutes. While the beef cooks, add all the dressing ingredients to a small bowl and mix them all up. Adjust seasoning to taste.⁠

To serve, build a salad of romaine lettuce, shredded cheddar cheese, chopped tomatoes, dill pickles, and onions. Top with ground beef and dressing! Boom – deconstructed, bunless Big Mac.
